It is clear that the virus does pose a threat. But to lock down the entire country should be out of the question. The cure is worse than the disease.

I fully blame the Government for the introduction of tier-four restrictions, and have opposed the lockdown measures since the beginning.

They embody the disrespectful loyalty of the old left that truly believed that a patriot was his country's worst critic.

Article placement and headline wording are important matters in the newspaper industry. The responsibility of choosing them should be taken more seriously – not simply as the Government would like it.

Not only has their holistic cost not been fully measured but the overwhelming bulk of peer reviewed research says they have a marginal effect at best.

Being ‘global’ is exactly what ‘Brexit’ was a rebellion against.

The Government ought to be ashamed of its bared-faced deceit. If it is going to lock the whole country down, it should be straight with us say so.
