2021 must be the year of a renewed push for a conservative agenda for our nation.

The list of praise-worthy parliamentarians shrinks by the day. But this duty of praise should — when necessary — be undertaken nonetheless.

We should at least examine and remember those who spoke in favour of free speech in this case, and those who, despite bearing a great arsenal of resources, remained silent.

Labour will, of course, fail in its duty to oppose these ludicrous, disproportionate, and cruel measures. But this should not stop you from exercising your duty, of writing — both briefly and promptly — to your MP against the destruction of your wealth, liberty, and the damage to your physical and mental health.

It is clear that the virus does pose a threat. But to lock down the entire country should be out of the question. The cure is worse than the disease.

I fully blame the Government for the introduction of tier-four restrictions, and have opposed the lockdown measures since the beginning.

Article placement and headline wording are important matters in the newspaper industry. The responsibility of choosing them should be taken more seriously – not simply as the Government would like it.
