As the US brokered peace in Ireland, Britain was sidelined.

Britain needs to transform itself from top to bottom if there is even going to be a generation of British in a hundred years time.

The notion that we come from nothing, are nothing, and have nothing to be proud of is an arrogant and shallow retort to anything resembling British patriotism.

The Conservative Party’s talk about ‘Buying British’, and of the opportunities Brexit provides to ‘unleash Britain’s potential’, is just that; talk.

At this point, all we can do is take bets on whether we experience inflation or deflation, and I personally would prefer that neither horse wins.
