Will the Casey Report finally affect some change?

For decades the evil and depravity metered out to white working class girls by Pakistani rape gangs was met with indifference, obfuscation, cowardice and occasional complicity by the British authorities.

Baroness Casey’s new 197-page report into this scandal calls out widespread institutional denial and makes a series of recommendations – including a call for a national public inquiry. Much of the report is completely damning – in particular, condemning a 2020 Home Office paper that denied (without evidence) an over-representation of ‘Asian’ CSE offenders. And this is the nub of the problem for the progressives who rule this country.

The single aspect of the rape gang outrage which ruling progressives find hardest to accept is that these crimes were racially targeted. White girls were raped and abused by groups of Pakistani men.

In the absence of racial targeting, these crimes would be uniformly distributed – that is, with as many Pakistani victims as white victims. On all available evidence, and despite the public authorities deliberately hiding it, this category of interracial crime goes overwhelmingly in one direction, with one set of perpetrators and one set of victims.

Until our self-hating ruling elite weans itself off its simplistic and false white oppressor/minority victim mindset, there will be no justice and no remedy for the victims. And there will be no peace in a society that puts some groups above others because of the colour of their skin or their status as a favoured minority. That path has been tried and it leads to division, rancour and conflict.

People hoped the 2014 Jay Report into child sexual exploitation in Rotherham would augur a national power shift resulting in a thorough clampdown on race-based grooming gangs. It did not happen. In fact, people on the ground – such as youth worker Jayne Senior – report that things are as bad as they have ever been.

Let’s hope that Casey’s intervention finally affects some change, eradicates this practice and puts the offenders – and those who protected them – behind bars.
